The lights are up and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Christmas lights are shining brightly in Eastbourne, giving the town centre that Christmassy feeling and showing us all that despite 2020 being a year none of us will forget – for all the wrong reasons – Christmas is not cancelled.
In just two weeks, we will see the start of our Cracking Christmas Raffle, in which one lucky person will win a bundle of prizes worth thousands of pounds. Just spend £40 in the town centre between 1st December and midday Christmas Eve for your chance to be that lucky winner!
For the children, The Great Elf Hunt will be under way from 5th December. Can you find all the elves? Keep an eye on our Facebook page, ‘Eastbourne Christmas‘, to see what they are up to in the run up to December; they will be making their way to Eastbourne to hit the shops and cause their mischief.
Victoria Place Traders (seafront end of Terminus Road) are working hard behind the scenes on their first Christmas event to be held on Saturday 12th December. With stalls, rides and a visit from Father Christmas, there will be something for all the family.
For a cute little meeting with Father Christmas at the weekends, you will be able to book some time in The Incredible Cake Company for cookies and stories with Santa himself. Keep an eye out for more details coming soon!
The fully licensed Christmas Market returns 17th-20th December and this year, there are two special elements: the youth market and the Vegan Village. The market stalls will be stretched between Enterprise Shopping Centre and Halifax Bank in Terminus Road and will have enough space between them to ensure physical distancing. A great opportunity to get in the Christmas spirit and pick up a few more gifts and decorations before the big day.
