We are saddened to hear of the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
We join the rest of the Country in mourning and paying our respects.
Tonight, in keeping with protocol, as we are unable to lower the flags to half mast, our contractor has begun to uninstall the Union Jack bunting, cross street signage and lamppost columns that have been on display since the Jubilee celebrations.
In this poor weather, please be patient with us as it may take a few days.
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.
