Have your say on the future of Eastbourne Train Station Health Centre. The consultation has reopened and the CCG is asking for your feedback.
NHS East Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) restarted its consultation into the future of Eastbourne Station Health Centre on Monday 3 August 2020. You may be aware that in February this year local people were asked to have their say on proposals, which included closing the walk-in service at Eastbourne Station Health Centre. The consultation was planned to run from 3 February to 30 April but was paused due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in line with government guidance and to ensure the health and safety of the public and CCG staff.
After careful consideration, the CCG’s governing body endorsed the restart of the consultation at its meeting on 29 July. The consultation restarted on 3 August and will run until Monday 14 September 2020. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly and we recognise that people are still dealing with the effects that pandemic continues to have on their lives. However, as lockdown is relaxed, and more workplaces and businesses start to re-open, the CCG feels that the time is right to re-start the process.
