Your Eastbourne BID directors and over 30 members of the Eastbourne unLtd Chamber of Commerce joined the staff at Closs and Hamblin last night (October 24th) to celebrate the end of the roadworks outside their store.
In speaking the Mayor of Eastbourne Cllr Steve Wallis acknowledged that it had felt like a longtime, but that the front of the store looked better than ever, and encouraged members and customers to enjoy their shopping in the high street. Steve said "Let's take a break from Amazon this year and instead support Eastbourne's retailers"
Newly appointed Chief Executive of the BID Stephen Holt said "My thanks to Closs & Hamblin for hosting such a brilliant event for members of Your Eastbourne BID and the Chamber of Commerce. It was great to meet the whole team and I know people took advantage of the 10% discount on offer!"
